The FOCUS team organized several meetings with the Mpata Commuity on the mobilization of the construction bricks for the project. The meetings have involved the Village Development Committees Chairpersons, the Group Village Headmen or their representatives, Village Headmen, the Board of Governors, and teachers. The meetings made several resolutions and commitments to bring the much needed bricks for the construction works. It helped to finalise the first classroom block and the starting of the foundation for the second classroom block. Efforts are still underway to encourage communities bring the promised bricks for the second block completion. The commitments are being monitored closely inorder to ensure the construction works moves on without more time wastage by the builders. The project team will continue liasing with the community leadership to ensure they stand by their promises of bringing bricks on the site on time.
The construction works is resumed for the first classroom block with installation of glasses and painting including the black boards. The classes are now ready for use.
